The Lint Center for National Security Studies, Inc., was founded in 2007, as a non-profit 501(c)(3) charitable organization that was created to award merit-based scholarships and to provide mentoring programs for individuals pursuing careers in intelligence, counterintelligence and national security.

This enhances the study of national security issues, cross-cultural studies, global understanding, cyber intelligence, and creates a natural bridge for the next generation to acquire knowledge about the industry, as they consider career options.
Established current-and-former industry experts mentor emerging leaders to provide invaluable insight to those who wish to follow in the footsteps of national service. Scholarships were awarded biannually in July and January .
